I created Foley sounds with simple objects in my house. This consisted of a macaroni and cheese box and my pillow. For the first video, I recreated the sound of rain using a tilting box of macaroni. I lightly tilted the box so as to not create an abrasive sound. However, the sound was still too loud so therefore I lowered the audio clip more to mute it out.
I secondly created the sound of a boxer hitting a punching bag. This one was harder to do since I had to perfectly sync my hits up with his. This took several tries, and, in the end, it still did not look fully correct. I made the sound by aggressively smacking my pillow.In my film I intend to use rain for the outdoor sound.
